H-4 is an air-launched heavy stand-off precision-guided munition built to deliver a single, mission-ending strike from beyond the horizon. Carried by a launch aircraft and remotely steered by a Mirage controller via datalink and a weapons-officer’s joystick, H-4 pairs a large penetrating HE payload with INS/GNSS navigation and a live EO/TV terminal seeker to correct for target motion and last-second aimpoint updates. Designed for high-value maritime and hardened land targets, it trades salvo mass for devastating single-shot lethality — reported range ≈120 km with CEP <3 m, length 3.65 m, wingspan 3.7 m, and weight ~2,500 lb.
